Looking for files should be easy. I waste too much time cd-ing and tab-tabbing to get to where I want to. cdargs and fuzzyfinder to the rescue, hopefully.

I'll go through the trouble of defining a proper location for a file once, when I create it. I don't want to chase/reinfer such location again and again.

I'll need something like that funny search box the macs have that is implemented in a future-proof language (screw beagle)
